Ceramic bodied continental type torpedo low voltage fuses with two metallic conical ends that fit into fuse holders on many boats and classic cars.
These marine ceramic fuses have a classic ceramic body rather than the modern thermoplastic bodies. The fuse element itself is either brass or copper which makes them more resilient in the marine environment. This type of fuse is particularly easy to remove and exchange if one needs to be replaced.
