Engine Sound Proofing Insulation Foam Information
Engine room sound proofing is designed to reduce noise from running engines and can be installed directly in the engine room with its self-adhesive backing. The sound proofing has a foil-faced top surface which is oil and tear resistant helping to prolong the effectiveness of the insulation panels and providing a surface that can be cleaned and maintained.
Manufactured in laminated layers for better acoustic retention these sound proofing boards are constructed from non-combustible materials and meets ISO 9094 of the recreational craft directive with the highest rating (Rating Zero) of the fire retardant requirement of BS476 Part 6 and 7.
The boat sound proofing boards are flexible and easily cut to fit a manner of awkward engine bay positions.
