If space is an issue onboard then this folding seat frame kit offers a sensible solution. The boat seat frame allows you to install a seat on to a vertical side with the ability to be folded down, out of the way, when it is not being used.

The boat folding seat frame can be bolted to a vertical side using the hinged brackets found on each of the seat support bars. These seat support bars also have a locating spigot that fit into the top of the removable ladder frame that creates a solid seat frame once correctly in place.

When the hinged support bars are fitted to a helm seat or navigators seat they become a unit that can be lifted in and out of the removable ladder frame. Removing the ladder frame allows you to rest the seat vertically against the side of your boat. The removable ladder frame can then be slotted neatly behind the stowed seat so it is sensibly stowed away when not in use.
