Freeman Gland Packing Kits Information
The gland packing needs regularly tightening and occasionally replacing as it is designed to wear away, thereby protecting your propeller shaft and log assembly.
The small Gland Packing Kit (SG028E) is suitable for Freeman Cruisers with either 1" or 1 1/4" propeller shafts, such as the Freeman 22 Mk1, 22 Mk2, 23, 26, 24, 27 and 28.
The larger Gland Packing Kit (SG028F) is suitable for Freeman Cruisers with 1 3/4" propeller shafts, such as the Freeman 30, 32 and 33.
The gland packing kits comprise of a length of gland packing and the stern gland locking wire.
