Hempel is the new name of the famous British brand Blakes Paints; the name change happened in January 2011.

Hempel SeaTech marine gloss varnish is an easy to use, single component varnish offering a durable finish with high resistance to water and UV damage.

This varnish can be use inside or outside but is particularly useful for interior woodwork with its quick drying times and odour free qualities. As Hempel SeaTech is a waterborne varnish overcoating is possible within two hours, as long as conditions allow, making it extremely useful for a quick coating.

It can be applied to new wood or previously varnished wood and thinned with fresh water. For use above the waterline.
