The in built Power Save mode reduces power consumption and the Keypad Lock ensures buttons are not pressed by accident. The wide backlit LCD display shows important information including Channel Selection and Battery Status.
This handheld VHF has 57 International Channels with 20 programmable memory slots for your specific choices.
For emergencies, there is a dedicated 'CH 16' button for instant access to the emergency channel.
Transmission Power: 5W / 1W, complete with sockets for SPK/MIKE/CHG and also SCAN and VOX features. The Transceiver can operate using the rechargable battery pack included or 4 x AA standard NIMH-cells.
