Self Amalgamating Tape is a self-fusing, waterproof and airtight sealing tape which sticks to itself creating a robust permanent bond for all sorts of repairs to engine and water hose.
This versatile bonding tape is easy to use straight from the packet. Simply roll out the bonding tape on to the problem area and wrap the tape around itself. The tape sticks to itself, leaving no sticky residue, and even stretches around uneven shapes because of its flexible characteristics.
The bond between the material is permanent, waterproof, airtight, non-conductive, insulating, and resists weathering AND salt water. The tape can withstand temperatures ranging from -51°C (-60F) to 260°C (+500°F).
The fixing tape can be applied in wet, non-oily conditions although dry surface conditions are suggested for best application.
