Sevylor SBM30 Electric Outboard Information
The Sevylor 12 volt Electric Outboard has a five stage forward speed control and a two stage reverse speed control allowing precise control and the ability to reduce battery consumption at lower speeds. Constructed from robust polycarbonate and aluminium, with a fixed control handle, this one-piece electric motor is ideal for powering small boats and dinghies along at a leisurely pace whilst being kind to environment with no harmful emissions.
The Sevylor electric trolling motor can attach to a boat transom using the aluminium engine mounting bracket. It can be fixed into place with the two thumb screws and the outboard depth can be adjusted using the shaft thumb screw.
The outboard bracket also has a tilt function that allows perfect positioning of the outboard for various different crafts.
Sevylor suggest this electric motor can be used in both fresh and salt water but it is advisable to rinse in fresh water after use in salt water. They have also included a power cable with positive and negative crocodile clips at one end for power.
