These deck plugs screw together with threaded connectors, which are designed to be weather-resistant. They incorporate internal rubber seals where the wire enters the plug to help guard against corrosion, and it comes complete with a weather-resistant cap for the socket when it is not in use.
This 12 volt plug can be mounted to any surface with the three fixing holes on the base flange.
