A handmade in Britain Freeman mahogany fridge box to elegantly house an onboard fridge, making an ideal compliment to the woodwork that Freemans are famous.
The Freeman compact fridge box is handmade in Britain and designed to neatly house the 'compact' Freeman fridge whilst offering a flat top ideally suited for mounting a helm seat when installing the boat fridge box in the cockpit.
The Freeman compact fridge box is particularly suitable for fitting to the Freeman 22, 23, 25 & 26 boats but may also be suitable for a variety of marine installations.
The compact fridge box is designed to hide away the workings of the 'compact' Freeman fridge while still allowing easy access to the fridge and freezer compartments.
The fridge box is easily mountable to most flat surfaces such as your cockpit floor and is often fitted as a replacement for many helm seat pedestals and allows you to utilise the space often wasted under the helm seat. This fridge box features an attractive over-hang edge around the top surface and features a bottomless design so the fridge 'workings' can be installed neatly underneath the box and is supplied unvarnished and unpainted so you are free to apply coatings.
We find that most Freeman compact fridge box installations utilise the space in the cockpit by replacing the helm seat and seat pedestal setup. By installing the fridge box here you are able to attach a helm seat to the top of the Fridge Box providing a sturdy seating position for the captain, whilst positioning the fridge (housed inside the box) as close as possible to the batteries (most commonly found underneath the helm position) and it also provides space beneath (in the small cupboard) to install the fridge 'workings' neatly.
Having said this, you can install a fridge box in any practical position onboard.

The Freeman Helm Seat is an additional add-on for the complete Freeman fridge, fridge box and helm seat kit (sold separately) and is not included with this product.
