We offer a comprehensive, good-value Winter Antifoul Package which includes lift out, pressure wash, re-antifoul, and relaunch in the spring.
Lifting your boat from the water for the winter period helps the hull to dry. It also protects the boat from the winter elements particularly high winds and flooding. It is the ideal opportunity to inspect and maintain your cruiser.
You do not need to have the complete winter package, boats can simply be lifted and stored as required.
Storage is charged on a weekly basis. As we have our own lifting cradle, boats can come and go more freely (within reason), as we do not have set craning days. We also have CCTV in operation for additional security.
We aim to start pulling the boats out of the water at the beginning of October, the majority of boats arrive towards the end of October for lifting in November. - It is better not to leave it too late to arrive. Strong streams and lock closures are more likely at this time which can restrict movement. - It is usually possible to continue using your boat from our moorings prior to lifting.
Re-launching usually commences in mid-March and is staggered depending on your winter maintenance program. Some boats remain on hard standing until mid-summer allowing owners to complete larger projects.
Hard standing during the summer months is charged on a weekly basis, giving the opportunity for you to control your own maintenance schedule.
Free help and project guidance are available while your boat is being stored. Providing you are purchasing required items from the Sheridan Marine Chandlery we will aim to guide you through your project, undertaking work you may not wish to do yourself, or have the time for.
