EC Smith & Sons, unfortunately no longer trading, where a UK based marine parts importer, wholesaler and supplier, probably most well know for their boat cabin ECS air vents. The ECS Ventair and ECS Ventilite is a low profile, weather resistant, durable boat ventilator. Designed to be used with or without their protective metal cowling. The ECS vent consisted of a plastic internal vent and a metal protective cowling. You could install just the plastic vent or utilise the metal cowling which would even let you stand on this vent system without damaging the vent; a particularly useful feature on boat where deck space is at a premium and where installing unprotected vents prove difficult.
