Manufacturing mooring lines for river cruisers, docklines for sea going boats and specialist engineered ropes for racing yachts and the British military, Marlow Ropes have been designing innovative ropes for over 200 years.

Ropes are used in a variety of ways on a boat. Typically you use mooring lines or docklines when mooring up at you mooring or jetty. Boat fender lines are responsible for hold fenders in the correct position and on sailing boats ropes are used for raising and lowering sails. In 1957 Marlow were the first rope manufacture to use synthetic fibres in rope production, this innovation meant ropes were stronger, long lasting and more reliable.
