The British Seagull Outboard Drive Spring acts like a shear pin preventing damage to the gearbox and propeller. The spring action buffers an impact to help protect main engine parts.
The British Seagull Drive Spring is a fairly high wear item so it is important to always carry a spare, especially if it is too far to row back!
This part is suitable for all British Seagull Outboard engines except Model 90/110, Model 125, 170, QB Kingfisher and QB Osprey.
