The Dometic ColdMachine CU-84 cooling unit is a powerful, efficient, and quiet 12/24-volt fridge compressor unit designed for cooling refrigerators when connected to an evaporator plate. This fridge cooling unit is intended for use with a capacity of up to 250 litres for refrigeration and comes with pre-charged refrigerant, self-sealing valves for easy installation, & a corrosion-resistant stainless steel mounting plate with vibration-absorption rubber motor feet.
The Dometic fridge compressor must be used with a Dometic Evaporator. In addition, you can use an accumulator with or without a Thermoelectric Controller (TEC). When installing into 240-volt systems either the Dometic EPS 100 Refrigerator Mains Adaptor or the Dometic Coolpower MPS-35 Refrigerator Mains Adaptor can be used

All fridge compressor units must be installed by a competent refrigerant installer as you only get one attempt at connecting the refrigerant pipes correctly. Any loss of refrigerant is the liability of the installer and we cannot accept returns on this basis. We can however return the product to Dometic for repair/re-filling however the charges for this process must be covered before commencing the repair as the connectors and their seals can only be used once.
