Door Ball Catch & Base

This chrome cupboard door ball catch and base plate can be installed into the side of a door and the equivalent door frame to act as a door catch or stay.

When the ball catch and the base plate meet under pressure the door is held in place as the ball spring locates into the base locating hole. When the door is pulled with a handle the pressure forces the spring ball to release and the door can be opened.

This door catch is particularly useful on boats where space can be at a minimum. The ball catch comes with a threaded shaft to help with installation.
