Engine Sound Proofing Insulation Foam

Engine room soundproofing is designed to reduce noise from running engines and can be installed directly in the engine room with its self-adhesive backing. The soundproofing has a foil-faced top surface which is oil and tear-resistant, helping to prolong the effectiveness of the insulation panels and providing a surface that can be cleaned and maintained.

Manufactured in laminated layers for better acoustic retention, these soundproofing boards are constructed from non-combustible materials and meet ISO 9094 of the recreational craft directive with the highest rating (Rating Zero) of the fire retardant requirement of BS476 Part 6 and 7.

The boat soundproofing boards are flexible and easily cut to fit a variety of awkward engine bay positions.
