A reinforced, laminated acoustic insulation foam board for engine bay sound proofing.
Engine room soundproofing is designed to reduce noise from running engines and can be installed directly in the engine room with its self-adhesive backing. The soundproofing has a foil-faced top surface which is oil and tear-resistant, helping to prolong the effectiveness of the insulation panels and providing a surface that can be cleaned and maintained.
Manufactured in laminated layers for better acoustic retention, these soundproofing boards are constructed from non-combustible materials and meet ISO 9094 of the recreational craft directive with the highest rating (Rating Zero) of the fire retardant requirement of BS476 Part 6 (1998) and Part 7 (1971).
The boat soundproofing boards are flexible and easily cut to fit a variety of awkward engine bay positions.
