Freeman Mahogany Cabin Pole

The Freeman Cruiser Round Mahogany Cabin Pole length as found on the cabin top of many Classic Style Freeman Cruisers. The Freeman Mahogany Pole is supplied as bare wood so it can be trimmed to length and chamfered on the ends to suit various installations. The mahogany length is provided un-varnished to prevent unsightly varnish join marks as trimming to length and additional finishing may be required.

The mahogany pole length is a replacement for the Freeman Mahogany Handrails featured on the classic range Freeman Cruisers, the standard length is suitable for the Freeman 23's, which have the longest handrails in the Freeman fleet.

Before fitting it is a good idea to check that the handrails slide inside your existing handrail brackets, as you may need to ease the rail slightly by sanding. Providing there is sufficient clearance the handrails should be pre-varnished with two sealer coats (a mixture of varnish and thinners) and at least one coat of neat varnish. The remaining coats of varnish can be applied after fitting.
