This glass fibre kit provides everything needed for fibre glass work and repairs and can be used on a variety of materials such as steel, aluminium, cast iron, glass fibre and wood. Glass fibre sheet is a soft and flexible cloth that can be easily cut to shape with scissors to size. When the resin and hardener is applied and has set , the glass fibre sheet bonds and holds its shape permanently and bonds to most materials.
This glass fibre kit repairs cracks, holes and splits in GRP and is able to 'secure' different materials together (for example: timber bulkheads to GRP boat hulls).
The kit is easy to use, sets in approximately 20 minutes and bonds to most materials including metal, wood, brick, stone and ceramic.
Fastglas will not stick to some plastics such as cellophane, polypropylene, polythene and polystyrene. Fastglas should not be used inside refrigerators, freezers food containers or drinking water tanks.
