This large 'B' section boat rubbing strake rubber is designed to be fastened to boats as a rubber fender profile to absorb knocks and impacts and features a central channel to install with the strengthening Boat Rubbing Strake Rigid PVC Insert Strip.
The boat rubber fender strip offers 30mm of impact rubber to help protect the boats superstructure in case of an impact and is flexible enough to bend around bends such as those usually found at the bow of the boat.
The Boat Rubbing Strake Rigid PVC Insert Strip, that is designed to slide down the central channel, is required to strengthen the screw fixing points and prevents the screw heads from 'pulling' through the rubber and tearing away. The insert strip also helps to disperse the impact pressure evenly through the rubbing strake to try to cushion the blow.
An Aluminium End cap is also available for the Large B Section Rubbing Strake Rubber to finish off ends or joins.
