Vetus Type MP Exhaust Mufflers

The Vetus Type MP Exhaust Mufflers is an engine exhaust noise muffler for water injection cooled engines. The exhaust muffler design mixes the water in the exhaust line, resulting in greater noise reduction, but cause almost no resistance to the free flow of the exhaust gases.

It can be quite beneficial to add a boat exhaust muffler to the boat engine exhaust system, especially if the exhaust route travels near by the main living areas, such as the cockpit. By installing the marine exhaust muffler it uses the density of the engine cooling water to 'absorb' the sound waves which are produced as a result of the exhaust gas flow.
