The WaterMota Crossflow distributor cap sits on the top of the distributor, which contains the rotor arm, points and condenser, together they distribute the electrical spark to the individual plugs so that the engine runs evenly.
Which WaterMota engine is this suitable for?
The WaterMota distributor cap is suitable for the majority of WaterMota Crossflow petrol engines including the WaterMota Sea Wolf Mk2 and WaterMota Sea Tiger Mk2. This WaterMota distributor cap may also occasionally be found on the earlier WaterMota Pre-Crossflow engine version if the original distributor has been upgraded in the previous years.

There are a few WaterMota Crossflow engines that were originally fitted with an alternative distributor complete with a different distributor cap usually identified by its tan brown colour as distinct from the standard black version as above. If this is the case please contact us.
