The WaterMota Electronic Distributor is a high quality premium replacement true electronic ignition distributor for both the WaterMota Crossflow and Pre-Crossflow petrol engines.

This true electronic ignition distributor comes pre-fitted with the electronic module, a new distributor cap and an electronic ignition coil. This distributor cannot be used with a standard coil and must be used with the coil supplied.

It is often a worn-out distributor which can cause engine running issues, therefore replacing the complete distributor is better than adding an electronic module to your original WaterMota distributor.

What does the WaterMota Distributor do?

The WaterMota Distributor is a part of the engine's ignition system, it transfers the high voltage from the coil in the correct order to the correct spark plug in time with the engine.

It is important that the electronic distributor is installed correctly, it needs fitting and is not a 'plug and play' item. You will need to make sure the new distributor is installed at the same rotation as the original distributor. You will also need to make sure the timing on the engine is correct and that you replace the old coil with the new electronic coil included with this distributor.
