Yes, the two products are similar, however, they are not the same. Autosol Marine Metal Polish (previously known as Marine Shine) is more abrasive than the general Autosol Metal Polish, therefore it is better on gelcoat and weathered metal, if you wish to polish chrome then you should use Autosol Metal Polish instead.
