Barrus Shire EZ-X05 Electric Outboard

Barrus Shire electric outboard for quiet, efficient cruising on waterways. This lightweight model with either a Tiller Control or Remote Control to provide the equivalent thrust of a 5Hp petrol engine.

The Barrus electric outboard range runs using 48 volts supplying a direct drive (gear-less) propeller shaft complete with heavy-duty, serviceable, bearings and a lower-end unit. The Barrus Shire EZ electric outboard propeller shaft is compatible with the range of Mercury Outboard propellers for greater adaptability and efficiencies and can be connected to an independent battery bank for power.

Operated by a selectable 3-Speed tiller arm control, or remote control (depending on the engine purchased), providing ECO Mode, Normal Cruising Mode, and Sports Mode. With forward and reverse control, on/off button, and magnetic safety lanyard tab providing easy and safe operation.

The lightweight Barrus Electric outboard features a fully adjustable transom bracket which also features a through-the-tilt steering tube for a remote steering option.
