British Seagull Outboard Bronze Spring Washer

British Seagull® Outboard, square cut, Bronze Spring Washer used to apply force between nuts and application bases; helping to prevent unwanted loosening through vibration.

Cut from a square piece of bronze, this left hand helix spring washer allows nuts to be tightened in a clockwise direction. If the nut moves in an anticlockwise direction, the raised edge bites into the nut and application base, helping to prevent the free movement of the nut and washer.
