These boat fender flutes are designed to be used on horizontal rails of 22mm (7/8") and 25.4mm (1") as well as guard wire. The fender rope should be 8mm so that the locking mechanism can work correctly.
Each fender flute has been designed to fit on to 25.4mm rails with two separate spacers that should be pushed into place to convert the flute to fit 22mm rails or the wire guard. This process is simple, the fittings are held in with two small pegs and does not require tools to remove.
Once the fender flute is positioned into your desired place simple press the fasten catch and the mechanism 'grabs' the rail.
