The new equivalent to Hempel Bitumen Varnish provides superior performance in protection against damaging UV from the sun and will not chalk/bleach. Hempel Pro Blacking 46500 can be used over existing bitumen coatings once the usual preparations such as pressure washing have taken place, and the surface allowed to dry. Initial coats onto existing bitumen will require at least 24 hours to dry. Hempel Pro Blacking 46500 is self-priming, anti-corrosive and suitable for all-year-round use.
