Neptune Marine Cooker Gimballed Pan Clamps

These stainless steel boat cooker gimballed pan clamps (sea rails) offer peace of mind and safety while using your Neptune marine cooker hob, by holding pans in place. The pan clamps simply screw to the side of the cooker into the pre-drilled and threaded holes.

The Neptune pan clamps offer two sets of adjustable sliding pan supports to accommodate various size pans. Each clamp simply clips over the front of the sea rail making them easy to use and clean.

What's The Difference Between the Neptune Pan Clamps and the Aqua Chef Pan Clamps?

These original Neptune pan clamps feature swiveling pan clamps which clamp over the top of the support using friction. The Aqua Chef Marine Cooker Pan Clamps are a redesign and feature encapsulated pan supports with thumb knobs in order to tighten the pan clamps in the position you need them.

The uprights of the Neptune pan clamp uprights are permanently attached to the pan clamp frame whereas Aqua Chef pan clamps are bolted to both the oven and the pan clamp frame.

Which boat cookers are these hob pan clamps compatible with?

This boat cooker hob pan clamp is suitable for the Plastimo Neptune 2500 & 4500 & Plastimo Pacific 4500 with oven, The Bainbridge Neptune, the Voyager 4500 and the Aqua Chef V4520 only.

Do I need gimbals with my boat oven pan clamps?

This depends on the installation of your marine cooker. If you require your boat cooker to 'swing' with the motion of the ocean (normally if you are sailing in rougher weather) then gimbals will allow your cooker to 'float' onto pivot points installed onto a bulkhead or cupboards, swinging the cooker against the rock of the boat - with the idea of keeping your oven flat with the horizon - to a point of course.

If you are not such an adventurous sailor and prefer calm seas (or rivers and lakes) chances are you may not require the gimbals. You may find that your cooker is attached directly to the galley floor and will rock with your boat.

The pan clamps work in the same way with either option, for example, they will clamp your pans in place, but the gimballed oven pan clamps provide those pivot points for the cooker to 'sway'.
