Stainless steel canopy bar hinge that provides a hinge point on straight boat canopy bars which allows canopy bar sections to be raised or lowered.
These stainless steel canopy (hood) bar hinges provide a hinge point on straight boat canopy bars which allows canopy bar sections to be raised, and held in position, or lowered.
The canopy bar hinge locks in an inline position with the locating pin acting as a lock. When the locating pin is removed the canopy hinge is released and can then be lowered.
The locating pin features a ring pull and a locking ball and spring mechanism to ensure the pin stays located when the hinge is in use. Depending on how low the bars are dropped when the hinge is lowered the pin maybe stored backwards into the locating hole for storage.
There are two grub screws, one located in each connecting hole, to help ensure the hood bar fits neatly and is held firmly in place.
