WaterMota Crossflow Crankcase Breather Valve

The WaterMota Crossflow Crankcase Breather Valve is a semi-closed positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve which is situated in the oil separator close to the fuel pump.

The crankcase breather valve is connected via the crankcase breather hose to the inlet manifold in order to remove unwanted gases from the crankcase.

The crankcase breather valve can become blocked and gummed up so should be investigated and replaced as part of your engine maintenance.

The crankcase breather valve is held in the oil separator by the crankcase breather grommet which can also deteriorate over time.
