This exhaust bend features a flange at both ends, bolting to the manifold but also to a solid exhaust pipe (which in turn might be joined to rubber hose).

Most commonly found on Pre-Crossflow and early Crossflow WaterMota engines on such boats as the Freeman 22's and 26's.
