WaterMota Pre-Crossflow Side Entry Distributor Cap

The WaterMota Pre-Crossflow Side Entry distributor cap sits on the top of the distributor of early Pre-crossflow engines, which contains the rotor arm, points and condenser, together they distribute the electrical spark to the individual plugs so that the engine runs evenly.

This early distributor cap requires HT Leads which are screwed into the cap and not push on leads which the majority of WaterMota engines are fitted with.

Which WaterMota engine is this suitable for?

The WaterMota distributor cap is suitable for the early WaterMota Pre-Crossflow petrol engines including the WaterMota Sea Wolf Mk1 and WaterMota Sea Tiger Mk1.

This particular WaterMota Pre-Crossflow Distributor Cap can be used with the WaterMota Pre-Crossflow Side Entry HT Leads. It is important to note that this is an early type and the coil lead is fitted with the 'screw-in' coil fitting for the original coil with the matching female screw thread.

If you wish, you can usually change this cap to the newer WaterMota Pre-Crossflow Distributor Cap and the compatible WaterMota Pre-Crossflow HT Ignition Leads - you will have to check the engine space is adequate for this as some installations will not have enough room to accept the additional height required.
