Whale electric field sensor automatic bilge switch operates bilge pumps automatically when water is sensed at a determined height, switching off the pump when water levels recede.
This automatic, field sensory, boat bilge switch will send a signal to a connect bilge pump to activate when water levels are at a height of 51mm (2") and will automatically signal when water levels have dropped to 13mm (1/2") to stop the pump. The switch will run two test cycles when water is detected to ensure that the pump has activated.
There are two variations of this bilge switch, one that offers instant function, turning the bilge pump off as soon as the water level has receded, and, one that allows for a 30 second delay in pump de-activation to allow for slightly lower draining than 13mm.
The bilge switch can be mount on its side or base using the associated two fixing holes and the pre-striped wires allow for easy installation.
