The British Seagull® Outboard Thrust Block Assembly holds the engine in place for starting and protects the engine by allowing it to 'kick-out' should an underwater collision happen.
The British Seagull® Outboard Thrust Block Assembly fits between the bottom forks of the engine transom bracket and is used to support the British Seagull Outboard Drive Shaft Casing Tube.
It comes complete with the British Seagull Outboard Locking Latch and Pin which stops the engine from tilting back when starting. This latch is designed to break if the motor hits an obstruction when under water. However, unless absolutely necessary always try and run with the latch open so that the motor is free to tilt in the normal manner.
It is also complete with the British Seagull Outboard Mounting Bracket Stud, two British Seagull Outboard Mounting Bracket Stud Nuts and two British Seagull Outboard Bronze Spring Washers.
This part is suitable for Century, Silver Century and Model 102 engines.
