A steering cable adapter to convert Ultraflex M66 or Seastar SSC62 steering cables to old threaded steering helms which used the M47 steering cable such as the Morse D290.
The Ultraflex M66 Steering Helm Cable Adapter is a nut designed to convert Ultraflex M66 or Seastar SSC62 steering cable to fit onto old threaded steering helms which used the now discontinued M47 steering cable such as the original Morse D290.
You can use this adapter to convert a modern steering cable to fit the original Morse D290 helm which was fitted to most inboard engine Freeman 24s. The original Morse D290 helm has a male thread which this adapter screws the cable onto.
