Freeman 24, 27 & 33 Mahogany Mast

A varnished solid mahogany mast, handmade in Britain, as featured on the classic New Style Freeman Cruisers 24's, 27's and 33's.

This wooden boat mast features a solid mahogany neck with an angled cross-beam yardarm. The boat mast has a twin core wire built into the mast neck to accommodate a mast light to be fitted on the front of the top of the mast. The Stainless Steel 12-volt Domed Masthead Light fits nicely on top. Each mast is finished in an initial tie-coat of varnish and you may wish to apply further coats.

The classic boat mast can usually be fitted by drilling a hole through the sides towards the bottom, so it can pivot forwards for storage when attached to a mast base with a mast pin.
