Barrus Shire 10W-40 CD/SF Marine Diesel Engine Oil is a multigrade mineral oil specially formulated for use with inland waterways canal boats that mostly operate at lower temperatures. The additives selected for this canal boat engine oil allows the oil to flow more freely at low temperatures, often found on canal boats, providing improved component protection, prevent bore glazing and polishing, whilst protecting them from wear and corrosion.
The SAE 10W-40 classification of this Shire diesel engine oil makes this oil also suitable for those engines that require SAE 15W-40 lubrication too.
