Barrus Shire EZ-20 Electric Outboards

The Barrus Shire electric outboard provides the means for quiet and efficient cruising on waterways. Available as Tiller Control or Remote Control option providing the equivalent thrust of a 15-20Hp petrol engine.

The Barrus electric outboard range runs using 48 volts supplying an internally water-cooled electric motor with belt-driven propeller shaft complete with heavy-duty, serviceable, bearings and lower end unit. The Barrus Shire EZ electric outboard propeller shaft is compatible with the range of Mercury Outboard propellers for greater adaptability and efficiencies and can be connected to an independent battery bank for power.

Operated by a selectable 3-Speed tiller arm control, or remote control (depending on the engine purchased), providing ECO Mode, Normal Cruising Mode, and Sports Mode. With forward and reverse control, on/off button, and magnetic safety lanyard tab providing easy and safe operation.
