Some marine, caravan, car, and building windows are fixed in place by screws going through a frame around a small channel, this channel is usually recessed to allow screws to lie flat to the frame. For an attractive finish, the channel typically has a screw cover that can be inserted into the ridges of the channel which 'hides' the screw heads from view.
The boat window screw cover is very easy to install by 'clipping' into place with either a flat-headed screwdriver or a similar tool and can be cut with scissors.

The smaller 9mm screw cover (FW029A) is generally found covering the screws around the windows fitted to many later Freeman Cruisers such as the Freeman 24 and Freeman 27. The Freeman 25 and Freeman 26 generally also have the 9mm screw cover fitted.
