The Jabsco bilge strainers help stop debris entering or blocking your bilge pump helping to increase efficiency and reduce wear on the pump. They also feature a built in non-return valve to stop bilge water draining back.
The Jabsco bilge strainers (strum box strainer) are designed to fit at the start of your bilge pick-up hose in the bottom of the bilge in order to prevent large debris entering the bilge pump. They also help to increase the inlet surface area making your bilge pump more efficient.
The bilge strainers feature a large coarse easily removable plastic mesh to stop debris blocking the inlet and the hose helping to protect your bilge pump from damage due to debris. The Jabsco bilge strainers also feature a built in non-return valve to stop bilge water draining back into the bilge as well as a re-positional port allowing for multiple angles of installation.
The strainer is easy to fit with a hose tail connection and two mounting points.
