The Mini Canopy Turn Button Eyelet Punch is a handy punch tool for punching an oval turn button eyelet shaped hole into canopy material. This tool is ideal for use with one-off and occasional canopy or hood fitting and repairs.
The Mini Canopy Turn Button Eyelet Punch is compatible with the Turn Button Canopy Eyelet & Base Plate which are designed to fit the Canopy Turn Buttons.
How to use the Mini Canopy Turn Button Eyelet Punch
The canopy eyelet punch is designed to be struck with a hammer to make a central oval hole with 4 additional holes around the outside for the legs of the eyelet.
When using the eyelet punch tool, place an old magazine on top of a piece of wood, then place the material on top of the magazine and hit the punch with a hammer. The magazine helps to give a cleaner cut and helps extend the life of the cutting blade.
