Mooring Compensators

This boat mooring compensator or, rubber snubber, is a mooring line rubber shock absorber that helps protect deck fittings from the effects of violent snatches caused by wind and waves.

Its is designed to absorb many of the sudden shocks that deck fittings can take when moored up using dockline ropes or chain. By absorbing sudden jolts the boats deck fitting has more protection helping to prevent the need for major repairs.
