These plastic eyelets are simple to fit and don't require any special tools. Simply make a hole in your tarpaulin or plastic sheeting, insert the eyelets, and clip them together, to create a secure 12mm (1/2") hole in the material (a hammer may be required to tap the parts of the eyelet together).
The eyelets can be used with various thicknesses of material with help from the included rubber washer which should be used with thinner materials to stop the eyelet from spinning. They are perfect for fitting extra eyes in your boat's winter cover. They allow you to cheaply and easily turn a standard-shaped cover into a custom boat cover.
The plastic eyelets will not rot or corrode as they are made from durable plastic and are suitable for netting, canvas, and tarpaulin plastic sheeting.
