The UML Mk5 Automatic Lifejacket Cartridge is a replacement automatic cartridge (capsule) for the United Moulders (UML) Mk5 automatic lifejacket firing head.
This automatic capsule is compatible with both the black and yellow UML Mk5 firing heads.
The automatic capsule should be inspected regularly and replaced after the life jacket has been fired or when it has expired (each capsule is marked with an expiry date). If the lifejacket has gone off, then a full automatic rearming kit contains both the capsule and a new gas cylinder.
