The Whale water system surge damper prevents water hammer and reduces pump strain on pressurised water systems using the Whale quick connect rigid pipework.
The Whale surge damper should be mounted in a vertical position immediately after the pump and before the pipework divides off to hot water (if fitted) or additional taps.
Fitting an accumulator to a small cold pressure system will reduce wear on the water pump and provide a smoother water stream at the taps.
