Autosol Marine Rust Ex is a rust and metal stain remover designed to remove heavy corrosion and staining from most metals, including iron, bronze, copper and steel. Rust Ex restores the shine and extends the life of your boats metal surfaces, it contains corrosion inhibitors to prevent the attack of non-corroded metal parts.
Shake the product well and rub it into the corroded areas with a clean cloth or sponge. Depending on the grade of corrosion allow the product to act for an appropriate time between 1 to 5 minutes. If necessary use a hard sponge or brush to assist the cleaning process. Do not allow the product to dry. Once the surface is stain free, thoroughly wash the product off with water and dry.
It is always import to test the metal surface with this product in an inconspicuous area.
