The corrosion resistant body houses the components, including the fuse, which is easily accessible via the tip that unscrews to release the glass fuse. This 12 volt plug features a moisture proof sealing ring for the wires and a unique Blue Sea twist lock mechanism so that the plug locates securely into the Blue Sea 12v Socket provided.
The Blue Sea Systems socket has a maximum output voltage of 15 volts and can be used for 12 volt electrical appliances on board. The current carrying components used are all nickel plated copper alloy housed in a corrosion resistant body.
This 12 volt marine socket can be installed using the surface mount front plate provided, utilising the two counter sunk screw holes, or the Blue Sea 12v Socket Mount.
