The British Seagull® Amal 416 Carburettor Throttle Needle Clip slides on to the jet needle holding it in place inside the throttle slide; which can be adjusted to change the fuel mixture.
The British Seagull® Amal 416 Carburettor Throttle Needle Clip slides on to the British Seagull Outboard Amal 416 Carburettor Throttle Needle holding it in place inside the throttle slide; which can be adjusted to change the fuel mixture.
The standard setting is with the clip set in the second notch up from the tapered end of the needle. The mixture can be adjusted by raising the clip to the top notch to weaken the mixture or lowering it to the bottom notch to richen the mixture.
This part is suitable for all British Seagull Outboard engines fitted with the Amal 416 Carburettor including: AF, EF, FS, SEF, TSEF, AFPC, SEFPC, TSEFPC, EFPW, AFPW, EGFPW, WSC, ESC, WSPC, ESPC & EFNR, some very late EFPC & WS (not so common as the EFPC) and QB Series engines.
