The dome-like shape of the crankcase provides enough room for the connecting rod to rotate as the British Seagull Outboard Crankshafts go around. The crankshaft sits in two bearings, one located at the top and one located at the bottom, this ensures the smooth operation and rotation of the crankshaft.
The QB Series flywheel cover housing fastens to the top of the crankcase housing the recoil starter components and the ignition system.
This British Seagull Outboard part is suitable for QB Series engines only.
